Terms of Service
The ground rules
These terms are an agreement between you and Norevia Group LLC (“Corvago”, “we”) for the Corvago app and corvago.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use Corvago
You must be of legal drinking age where you live — 21 or older in the United States — to create an account. We ask for your date of birth at signup and refuse accounts that don't qualify. You are responsible for keeping your login private and for what happens under your account.
2. What Corvago is
Corvago is a personal wine assistant: a cellar and tasting log, and guidance built around your taste — which bottle to open, whether one is worth buying, what to pick from a shelf or a list. Recommendations and explanations are opinions produced by our intelligence from the information available to it. They are suggestions to help you decide, not professional, medical or financial advice, and we can't promise a wine will taste the way we describe it or that a store still has it.
3. Subscriptions and purchases
- Paid plans and credits are sold through Apple as in-app purchases. Apple handles billing, renewal and refunds under its terms; we don't see your payment details.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; it doesn't refund the current period.
- One subscription unlocks one Corvago account. If you need to move it to another account you own, the app offers a transfer, which removes it from the first account.
- Credits (extra questions or scans) are consumed as you use them and aren't refundable once used.
- Plan limits (questions, scans, bottles) are enforced by our servers. Attempting to bypass them is a violation of these terms.
4. Your content
What you enter — your bottles, notes, tastings, photos — is yours. You give us the permission we need to store, process and display it in order to run the Service for you. You can download what you entered and delete your account at any time. When you record a wine at a commercial venue, the anonymous fact that the wine was seen there may remain part of Corvago's shared store-availability data after you delete your account; nothing in it identifies you.
5. Our intellectual property
The Corvago name and marks, the software, the taste model we build for you, our recommendations and explanations, our wine catalog and every piece of derived data are the property of Norevia Group LLC. You may use them only through the Service, for your personal, non-commercial use. In particular you may not:
- copy, scrape or bulk-extract the catalog, availability data, recommendations or explanations;
- reverse engineer, probe or attempt to extract the models and intelligence behind the Service;
- use automated tools to access the Service, or circumvent its limits or security;
- resell or commercially exploit the Service or its output without our written permission.
Your data export contains the information you entered; it does not include our derived intelligence.
6. Alcohol
Corvago does not sell alcohol and is not a retailer or marketplace. Buying and consuming alcohol is subject to the laws where you are; you are responsible for complying with them. Please drink responsibly, never drive after drinking, and follow medical advice about alcohol during pregnancy or with any health condition.
7. Third parties
Store and restaurant names, addresses and availability come from map data and from what Corvago users have seen. They may be out of date or wrong. Any purchase you make from a third party is between you and them.
8. Ending things
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete my account) or at corvago.com/account/delete. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service or others, or where the law requires it.
9. Disclaimers and limits
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Norevia Group LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent they are permitted.
10. Changes
These terms are versioned. If we make a change that matters, the app will ask you to review and accept the new version before you continue; otherwise the current version applies from the date above.
11. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Norevia Group LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company, and any dispute that isn't resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
